
Dr. Joseph Arshad has said that Pakistan Day reminds the nation of the golden principles of unity, faith, and discipline, which can enable the country to effectively national challenges if followed in true spirit.
In his message on March 23, he offered special prayers for the security, progress, and prosperity of the country, stating that the day renews our awareness of national goals and collective responsibilities.
The Archbishop emphasized the need to promote national unity, peace, and interfaith harmony, adding that all segments of society must play their role in building a strong and stable Pakistan. He noted that in the current circumstances, unity and consensus are the key strengths through which the nation can overcome all challenges.
Highlighting the importance of interfaith harmony, he said it is essential to promote respect, tolerance, and brotherhood among followers of different religions to ensure social cohesion and stability.
He also paid tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan for their sacrifices in defending the country’s borders, saying the nation will always remember the bravery and dedication of its soldiers. He added that the country remains secure due to their unmatched sacrifices, allowing citizens to live in freedom.
In conclusion, he prayed that Allah Almighty continues to guide Pakistan on the path of peace, stability, and development, and grants the nation the strength to move forward with unity and harmony.
