Green Tourism Pakistan’s practical strategy continues to drive significant progress within the national tourism sector.
Last year, Pakistan welcomed more than one million international tourists, marking a remarkable 820 percent increase over previous years.
Renowned global organizations, including the BBC and CNN, have featured Gilgit-Baltistan among the world’s top twenty-five tourist destinations.
To further encourage travel, Pakistan has simplified its visa processing by providing a “Visa Prior to Arrival” facility for citizens of 126 countries.
Tourists are also being facilitated through the E-Tourism portal, “Tourism on the Palm,” which streamlines the travel experience.
Additionally, Green Pak Hotels and Resorts has completed seventeen projects over the last two years.
There are now plans to open ten more hotels and resorts across various parts of the country, including Gadani, Sonmiani and Hunza.
