Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali, paid a special visit to the Sargodha Press Club, where he received a warm welcome from the journalists.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that good governance is not possible without the media, and that journalists play a vital role in raising public awareness. He congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of the Press Club and assured them of resolving their issues, including the establishment of a journalists’ colony.
The Commissioner stated that several development projects are underway in Sargodha, including improvements in healthcare, infrastructure, water supply, roads, city beautification, and rural development. He further added that important projects such as the Cardiology Institute, Trauma Center, and sports grounds are also nearing completion and will provide modern facilities to the public.
Earlier, the journalists warmly welcomed the Commissioner upon his arrival. At the end of the visit, the journalists thanked him and expressed their commitment to promoting mutual cooperation.
