Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, has approved large-scale new policies to ensure transparency and accountability in the National Highway Authority.
Chairing a meeting in Islamabad today, he made it clear that any form of corruption under the cover of repair work will not be tolerated.
Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized the need to complete pending inquiries promptly, ensure full accountability of utilized funds and implement a strict monitoring system.
He instructed National Highway Authority to hire competent, capable and honest executives from the private sector to improve the Institution’s performance.
The Minister also ordered the immediate resolution of construction-related complaints on the Abdul Hakeem Motorway (M-3).
