
Khushab Police have released their performance report for March 2026, highlighting significant actions taken against criminal elements.
Under the supervision of District Police Officer (DPO) Dr. Ammara Shirazi, Khushab Police arrested 5 criminal gangs during the month. In addition, 152 proclaimed offenders and 57 previously record-holding (TOS) criminals were taken into custody.
According to the report, 25 cases were registered under the Kite Flying Act against kite sellers and flyers. In operations against illegal weapons, 54 cases were registered, resulting in the recovery of 2 Kalashnikovs, 8 rifles, 15 shotguns, 29 pistols, and 134 rounds of ammunition.
During a crackdown on drug dealers, 38 cases were registered, and authorities recovered 8.920 kilograms of hashish and 564 liters of liquor from the accused.
Furthermore, 28 cases were registered against violations of the Sound System Act. Khushab Police also recovered stolen property worth more than 6.9 million rupees and returned it to the rightful owners.
The process of internal accountability remained active, with 39 police personnel punished for negligence, while 25 officers demonstrating outstanding performance were awarded appreciation certificates and cash prizes.
Traffic Police Khushab imposed fines amounting to 19,171,000 rupees for traffic violations during the month. Meanwhile, Police Facilitation Centers provided services to more than 6,000 citizens.
