A dignified ceremony was held at the Benazir Public Secretariat Khushab on the occasion of the 47th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, with a large number of workers and office-bearers of the Pakistan Peoples Party in attendance.
The chief guest at the event was former candidate for the National Assembly Malik Mazhar Iqbal Awan, while the ceremony was presided over by Divisional General Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party Sargodha Division, Haji Malik Zil Hasnain. Party workers from across the district participated enthusiastically and paid rich tribute to their great leader.
Speakers, in their addresses, said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a multifaceted political figure who strengthened the foundations of democracy in Pakistan and raised awareness among the people about their fundamental rights. They emphasized that the ideology of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is still alive, and party workers remain committed to fulfilling his mission.
During the ceremony, party workers also presented party anthems and paid glowing tribute to the services of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
