On the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Inspector General Punjab Abdul Karim, Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber and District Police Officer Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi reviewed security arrangements in connection with Easter 2026.
During the visit, both the Deputy Commissioner and the DPO extended their best wishes to the Christian community on the occasion of Easter and expressed solidarity with them. They assured full cooperation from District Police Khushab to ensure a peaceful celebration for the Christian community.
The DPO stated that on the occasion of Easter, the Christian community is celebrating freely across the country. In this regard, foolproof security has been provided to all churches across the district so that people can celebrate Easter without fear.
She further added that on the instructions of the IG Punjab and the RPO Sargodha Division, security at all mosques, imambargahs, churches, and other sensitive installations has been placed on high alert to prevent any untoward incidents.
