
Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, visited the water supply system in Mitha Tiwana, where he conducted a detailed inspection of water distribution and water supply motors. CEO Municipal Committee Mitha Tiwana, Ali Furqan, briefed him on the overall system.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the performance of the Suthra Punjab Program, drainage conditions, and cleanliness arrangements. Saim Waris provided a briefing on sanitation measures and the progress of the cleanliness campaign.
On the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Deputy Commissioner listened to public complaints under the open-door policy in Mitha Tiwana. He issued on-the-spot instructions to relevant departments to ensure immediate resolution of citizens’ issues.
Dr. Laber also visited Mitha Tiwana and the 5 Chak forest areas. The District Forest Officer briefed him on forest management and minor irrigation areas. The Deputy Commissioner, along with Assistant Commissioner Khushab Chaudhry Ziaullah, inaugurated the plantation drive by planting a sapling.
Among those present on the occasion were Forest Officer, CEO Health Dr. Ahmed Khan, CEO MC Mitha Tiwana Ali Furqan, and officials from the Suthra Punjab Program and other departments.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Botala to review ongoing development projects. The Executive Engineer (Highways) briefed him on progress. The Assistant Commissioner Khushab, CEO Health, Forest officials, and officers from other departments accompanied him during the visit.
