
The government has announced a significant increase in fuel prices, raising both petrol and diesel rates across the country.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, petrol has been increased by Rs 26.77 per litre, while diesel has also seen a hike of Rs 26.77 per litre.

After the revision, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs 393.35 per litre, whereas diesel will now cost Rs 380.19 per litre.
The official notification confirmed that the revised fuel prices will come into effect from midnight tonight.
The sudden increase is expected to impact transportation costs and overall inflation across the country.
