Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cultural ties with Nepal.

He was talking to the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, Rita Dhital in Islamabad today.

The Minister said Pakistan is home to invaluable Buddhist artifacts, including the renowned Buddha sculptures and remains.

The Nepalese Ambassador acknowledged the longstanding relationship between Nepal and Pakistan, built on mutual respect, goodwill, and cooperation. She commended Pakistan’s efforts in the promotion, preservation, and conservation of culture, arts, museums, and Buddhist cultural heritage.

Both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in culture, heritage, and people-to-people engagement.
