A meeting was held at the Punjab Emergency Service Office Khushab under the chairmanship of District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Khushab, Ali Hussain, to review the emergency performance report for the month of April.
Briefing the meetingKhushabict Emergency Officer Ali Hussain stated that a total of 11,616 calls were received by the Punjab Emergency Service during the last month, out of which 3,213 were genuine emergency calls. Rescue 1122 maintained its response time and successfully rescued 3,183 affected individuals.
He further informed that during the month of April, 321 road traffic accidents, 2,449 medical emergencies, 17 fire incidents, 4 structure collapse cases, 41 crime-related emergencies, and 381 other emergencies were handled. These included incidents such as injuries during work, animal and bird rescues, and other miscellaneous emergencies.
According to the report, Rescue 1122 provided first aid on the spot to 1,054 minor victims, while 2,068 seriously injured persons were given timely medical assistance and shifted to nearby hospitals.
Regarding the Patient Referral Service, it was stated that 294 patients were transferred from government hospitals to other government healthcare facilities for better treatment and specialized medical care.
