Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said Pakistan defeated India not only on the military front but also on the diplomatic and narrative fronts.
In an interview with PTV today (Sunday), he said the Ministry of Information, the ISPR, and the Pakistani media successfully exposed India’s falsehoods and unfounded claims by presenting facts.
The Minister appreciated the mature, responsible, and fact-based reporting of the Pakistani media at a time when the Indian media was engaged in war-mongering and war hysteria through false reporting.
He said the Indian media even claimed to have hit imaginary ports in Lahore and Multan, while it is well known that both cities are landlocked.
Attaullah Tarar also commended the youth of Pakistan for exposing India’s designs on social media.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan believes in peace, but this desire should not be taken as weakness. He added that Pakistan’s defence is in strong and capable hands.
