Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said Pakistan offers vast investment opportunities in the tourism, hospitality, real estate and construction sectors.
He was talking to a delegation of Qatar’s Taameer Group led by its founder Muhammed Hassain Al Ali in Islamabad today.
The Prime Minister said Qatar is a long-standing friend of Pakistan that has always stood by the country in difficult times. He said the government is taking priority measures to increase foreign investment and remove obstacles in the way of investment under the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
Shehbaz Sharif directed the relevant authorities to provide all possible facilitation and support to the group regarding investment in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the founder of Taameer Group briefed the Prime Minister on the group’s ongoing and proposed investment projects in Pakistan.
The delegation informed that the group is interested in investing in Pakistan’s hospitality, hotel, real estate and construction sectors, and work on several projects has already begun.
Muhammed Hassain Al Ali expressed keen interest in further expanding the group’s investment in Pakistan.
He appreciated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership and the government’s measures for economic development, business promotion and increasing foreign investment.
Muhammed Hassain Al Ali said the government under the Prime Minister’s leadership is taking positive steps to facilitate investors through the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
