Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan gives special importance to institutional cooperation and exchange of experiences with friendly countries.
He made the remarks during a meeting with the visiting Bangladeshi delegation of senior civil service officers.
The Information Minister highlighted the need to further promote collaboration between training and capacity-building institutions of Pakistan and Bangladesh including faculty exchanges, joint research and development of training modules.
Attaullah Tarar described the Executive Development Program between the civil services of Pakistan and Bangladesh as a significant advancement in recent decades.
He noted that both the countries share historical ties and a common legacy in administration and governance.
The Information Minister welcomed the positive progress in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh, emphasizing this will further strengthen mutual trust and constructive cooperation.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, who was also present on the occasion, emphasized promoting professional links and institutional cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
He said bilateral relations are extremely important for fostering regional harmony and mutual understanding.
The Bangladeshi delegation expressed interest in Pakistan’s administrative framework and the ongoing reforms in various sectors.
