Ismaili Community’s Spiritual Leader, Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan, departed from Gilgit today after completing his historic three-day visit to Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
During the visit, he attended various religious and social gatherings in Hunza, Gojal, Gahkuch, Ghizer, Gilgit, and Chitral, where hundreds of thousands of devotees gathered to catch a glimpse of their spiritual leader.
The visit witnessed an atmosphere of joy, devotion, and enthusiasm across Gilgit-Baltistan, along with a remarkable display of religious harmony.
Large numbers of people turned out to welcome their spiritual leader.
At the conclusion of the visit, Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan was accorded a dignified farewell at the Gilgit helipad. The Caretaker Chief Minister, Governor, and senior military and civil officials were present on the occasion.
Before his departure from Gilgit, Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan thanked the military and civil institutions for the arrangements made during the visit and appreciated the security and administrative measures.
