District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Khushab, Ali Hussain, informed the media that Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 Khushab has finalized a comprehensive emergency duty plan to ensure the provision of uninterrupted 24-hour rescue services during Eid-ul-Adha.

The arrangements have been made to effectively respond to road traffic accidents, medical emergencies, fire incidents, rescue operations and all other emergency situations during the Eid holidays. Under the plan, special emergency duties have been assigned to rescue personnel across the district.

He stated that Rescue 1122 staff will remain deployed at Eid grounds in Jauharabad and Khushab City, while rescue teams along with emergency vehicles will also perform duties at Eid grounds in the tehsils of Naushera, Quaidabad and Noorpur Thal. In addition, special Rescue Motorbike Service posts have been established throughout the district to ensure a quick response in case of any emergency.

District Emergency Officer Ali Hussain, in his public message, advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during the intense heat wave expected during the Eid days. He urged motorists to refrain from over-speeding, one-wheeling and violating traffic rules. Motorcycle riders were advised to wear helmets, while car drivers were urged to ensure the use of seat belts.

He further advised families visiting recreational spots to maintain a safe distance from rivers, canals and natural springs in order to avoid any unfortunate incidents. Citizens were also instructed to install and maintain functional fire extinguishing equipment to prevent fire-related emergencies.

Ali Hussain added that in case the Rescue 1122 helpline is unavailable during any emergency, citizens should immediately contact the Rescue Control Room at 0454-933075.

At the end of his message, he extended advance Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people of Khushab.
