Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) Noorpur Thal, Malik Waqas Ahmad Sahlal, said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is introducing farmer-friendly policies to ensure greater development and prosperity for the farming community of Punjab.

He expressed these views while visiting the home of farmer Muhammad Waris in Shahwala Janubi to deliver the good news that he had won a motorcycle through a lucky draw.

Speaking on the occasion, Malik Waqas Ahmad Sahlal said that, under the supervision of Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) District Khushab, Abdul Majeed Khan, the department would continue making every possible effort for the welfare and betterment of the farmers of the Thal region. He added that the entire field staff of the Agriculture Department is actively working in this regard.

Farmer Muhammad Waris expressed his happiness upon receiving the motorcycle prize through the lucky draw and thanked the officials of the Agriculture Department, Tehsil Noorpur Thal, from the core of his heart.

In his message, he urged fellow farmers to ensure timely recovery of their Kisan Card dues so they could also become eligible for such rewards. He further encouraged farmers to benefit from the Agriculture Department’s farmer-friendly policies and play their vital role in bringing about a green revolution in the country.

Muhammad Waris added that they would continue benefiting from the Punjab Government’s farmer-oriented initiatives and assured full cooperation with the staff of the Agriculture Department in Tehsil Noorpur Thal.
