On the special directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, an “Inter-Muslim Unity Conference” was held in Sargodha. A committee delegation led by Provincial Khateeb and Committee Chairman Maulana Mukhtar Ahmad Nadeem visited Sargodha to participate in the event.

Organized by the divisional administration, the conference was attended by Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Shehzad Asif Khan, Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali, prominent religious scholars from all schools of thought, spiritual leaders, and members of the Peace Committee.

Addressing the gathering, the speakers stated that the blessed personality of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) serves as the central point of unity for the entire Muslim Ummah. They emphasized that mutual brotherhood, tolerance, and social harmony can only be maintained through adherence to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

According to RPO Muhammad Shehzad Asif Khan, a comprehensive strategy has been prepared to ensure foolproof security arrangements and smooth traffic flow during the month of Muharram.

The conference concluded with special prayers for the security, stability, progress, prosperity, and unity of Pakistan, as well as for harmony among all schools of thought within the Muslim community.
