Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali, visited Ghalib Library and Jinnah Hall and conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing renovation project. On the occasion, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation, Bilal Makhdoom, briefed the Commissioner on the progress of the project, construction standards, and the expected completion timeline.
During the visit, Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali inspected various sections of the library hall and directed the concerned authorities to ensure that all renovation work is completed according to the prescribed standards and within the stipulated timeframe. He emphasized that the project aims to provide citizens with improved educational, literary, and cultural facilities.
The Commissioner stated that Ghalib Library and Jinnah Hall are important symbols of the city’s intellectual and cultural identity. He added that their improvement would further promote literary, educational, and social activities in the region.
He instructed the relevant officials not to compromise on the quality of construction work and to ensure the timely completion of the project. The Commissioner reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to utilizing all available resources for public welfare and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Expressing satisfaction with the pace and quality of the work, Hafiz Shaukat Ali directed the concerned officers to continue close monitoring of the project so that it can be completed on schedule and opened to the public at the earliest opportunity.
