Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed for strict action against tax evaders and businesses issuing fake receipts.
She was chairing a meeting of the Revenue Department in Lahore today.
The Chief Minister approved measures to monitor marriage halls, marquees, farmhouses, and major food chains through cameras, while also directing a gradual shift from cash transactions to digital payments.
Maryam Nawaz also directed the Punjab Revenue Authority to strengthen enforcement, improve public tax awareness, and adopt modern technology.
