Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) and private Hajj organizers for their outstanding performance and successful management of Hajj 2026, which earned international recognition from Saudi Arabia.
He was talking to recipients of the Labbaytum Excellence Award for best performance in Hajj 2026 operations in Islamabad today.
The Prime Minister was briefed that three Pakistani private Hajj organizers received the prestigious Labbaytum Excellence Award from the Saudi government for providing exemplary services to Pakistani pilgrims.
According to details, Al Miraj Munazzam, led by Muhammad Affan Zeeshan, secured the first position, while Ibrahim Munazzam, headed by Muhammad Shahid Rafiq, clinched second position, and Al Fattah Munazzam, led by Zaeem Akhtar Siddiqui, grabbed the third position.
The Prime Minister was also informed that Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro also received the Labbaytum Excellence Award in recognition of his exceptional performance.
Congratulating all the award recipients, the Prime Minister also appreciated Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, as well as the officers and staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, for ensuring excellent arrangements for Hajj 2026.
The Prime Minister said the awards conferred by the Saudi government in recognition of the services provided to Pakistani pilgrims under both the government and private Hajj schemes are a matter of great honour for Pakistan and a clear acknowledgment of the country’s high standards of Hajj management.
He said the global appreciation of Hajj 2026 arrangements, achieved through the continuous efforts of the Government of Pakistan and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, is a source of pride for the entire nation.
Shehbaz Sharif said it is the spirit of service, hard work and integrity that makes nations great. He remarked that through their dedicated service, the officials and organizers not only earned the blessings of Almighty Allah and the prayers of the pilgrims but also brought honour to Pakistan.
Expressing confidence in their capabilities, the Prime Minister said he believes they will maintain and further improve the same standards of hard work, honesty and service during next year’s Hajj arrangements and win even more awards.
