Pakistan Rangers Sindh foiled a cowardly terrorist attack on Rangers Camp in Karachi last night killing three Khwarij belonging to Indian proxy, Jamaat ul Ahrar.
The assailants, after a blast at main gate of the Camp, attempted to breach the perimeter security. However, the vigilant and resolute response of Rangers troops resulted in eliminating three Kharjis and capturing one Kharji in injured condition, who is an Afghan national.
During fire exchange, three brave sons of soil, rendered the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat in the line of duty, while four soldiers are injured.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji in the area.
The relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has expressed his deepest condolences with the families of the brave soldiers. He said these sacrifices further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs.
