In accordance with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s open-door policy, Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber heard the grievances of citizens and issued on-the-spot directions to the relevant departments for their immediate resolution.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber said that the doors of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office are always open to everyone. He urged citizens to present their concerns without hesitation, emphasizing that resolving public grievances on a priority basis is the administration’s foremost responsibility.
He directed the Assistant Commissioner Khushab and officers of the relevant departments to ensure that no obstacle or delay is tolerated in resolving citizens’ problems. He said that public grievances are heard on a daily basis and directed the concerned officers to submit reports on the action taken on applications submitted by the complainants.
The Deputy Commissioner made it clear that resolving citizens’ problems is the administration’s top priority, while negligence, lethargy, and dereliction of duty in government departments will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He further directed all departments to perform their duties with dedication and sincerity, considering public service their fundamental responsibility.
