The Third Annual Mushaira will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, to promote literary and cultural activities in Soon Valley and encourage the development of Urdu language and literature. Renowned poet Shakeel Atir will attend the event as the Chief Guest.
The Mushaira is being organized jointly by Bazm-e-Adabi Soon Valley and Al-Haj Jalal Traders. A large number of renowned poets, writers, intellectuals and other personalities associated with literature from across the region are expected to attend the event. Poets will present their works, providing an opportunity for literature lovers to enjoy an evening of poetry and literary expression.
According to the organizers, the primary objective of the Mushaira is to further expand literary activities in Soon Valley, provide local poets with opportunities to present their creative work, and encourage the younger generation to develop an interest in the Urdu language and literature.
The Third Annual Mushaira will be held at Qasr-e-Akbar Hall, Naushahra, at 10:00 p.m. on August 23. The organizers have appealed to literary circles, poetry enthusiasts and people with an appreciation for literature to participate in the event in large numbers.
