Security forces have killed seven terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Khwarij in intelligence based operation in Kharan district of Balochistan.
According to security sources, the operation was carried out under operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 on information about the presence of terrorists in Lajay area of Kharan. Many terrorists were also injured in the operation.
Security forces completely destroyed the hideouts of Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists during the operation. Modern weapons, a large amount of ammunition, other war material, two vehicles and a motorcycle were also recovered from the terrorists.
The security sources said the terrorists were involved in planning looting, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, target killings and suicide attacks in Kharan and Lajay areas.
Security sources said the intelligence-based operations under Radd-ul-Fitna 3 in Balochistan are continuing to completely eliminate terrorism.
Meanwhile, security forces and District Police killed at least five terrorists during a joint intelligence-based operation conducted in different areas of Bannu.
Acting on precise intelligence regarding presence of Fitna al-Khawarij operatives in vicinity of Sadron, Akbar Ali Khan village, and surrounding localities, a combined tactical team led by District Police Officer Bannu, Muhammad Furqan Bilal, executed a targeted operation of the suspected hideouts.
During the operation, joint forces deployed drone technology to maintain precise surveillance and execute effective tactical actions against the target group.
A comprehensive search and clearance operation remains active across adjacent areas to track remaining suspect movements and dismantle auxiliary hideouts.
