Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities to ensure the timely completion of water filtration plant projects across the province.
She issued the directives while chairing a review meeting on clean drinking water projects in Lahore today [Tuesday].
The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of clean drinking water projects in all districts and directed the authorities to take immediate measures to rehabilitate more than seven hundred non-functional water filtration plants.
In a separate meeting, Maryam Nawaz Sharif met members of the Punjab Assembly from Okara and discussed the political situation, ongoing development projects, and issues relating to their respective constituencies.
She directed the assembly members to maintain close contact with the public and remain attentive to their concerns.
