Radio Pakistan Sargodha continues its series of educational and informative visits for academic institutions. In this connection, a team of Radio Pakistan Sargodha, led by Station Director Fariha Kanwal, visited the Government Graduate College for Women, Farooq Colony, Sargodha.

On the occasion, the college students participated in Radio Pakistan’s popular programme “Shaheen Sargodha” and also visited various sections of Radio Pakistan as part of an informative tour. The students were awarded certificates of appreciation in recognition of their participation.

The Radio Pakistan Sargodha team included Senior Anchorperson Sabtain Baloch and Nauman Shafiq. Upon their arrival at the college, Principal Muntaha Javed, Associate Professor Shazia Zafar and Associate Professor Sabahat Kulsoom warmly welcomed the visiting team.

The students who received certificates of appreciation included Salma, Tehreem Nasir, Madiha Nasir, Fatima Zahra, Hafsa, Rabia Mazhar and Sameera Ahmed.

A group photograph was also taken with the college administration, teachers and students. The purpose of Radio Pakistan Sargodha’s educational visits is to familiarise students with the various departments, broadcasting activities and programmes of Radio Pakistan and to provide them with practical insight into professional fields.

The Radio Pakistan Sargodha administration said that the series of informative visits to educational institutions and activities aimed at encouraging students would continue in the future.
