In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the directives of the Inspector General of Police Punjab, District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab Dr Ammara Shirazi held an open court at Noorpur Thal Police Station to listen to public complaints and address citizens’ concerns.
During the open court, the DPO listened to the individual and collective problems of citizens and issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned police officers for their immediate resolution.
Dr Ammara Shirazi also contacted the relevant police officers by telephone to obtain updates on the complaints raised by citizens. She directed them to resolve all issues on merit within the stipulated time frame to ensure timely justice and effective redressal of public grievances.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Khushab Dr Ammara Shirazi said that resolving the individual and collective problems of citizens was among her foremost priorities. She emphasized that the doors of her office remained open at all times and that citizens could approach her without hesitation to report their complaints and seek assistance.
She further stated that practical measures were being taken to strengthen coordination and mutual trust between the public and the police. She added that public cooperation and an effective policing system were essential for preventing crime and improving the overall law and order situation.
DSP Quaidabad Mehr Javed Iqbal and Noorpur Thal Police Station SHO Muhammad Ejaz Dhool were also present at the open court.
