District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi chaired a crime review meeting at the DPO Office in Jauharabad. The meeting was attended by SP Investigation Khushab Saeedullah Khan, all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), and Station House Officers (SHOs) from across the district.
During the meeting, the participants conducted a detailed review of the overall crime situation, investigation of registered cases, and police performance throughout the district.
DPO Dr. Ammara Shirazi directed police officers to ensure the immediate registration of cases involving cognizable offences, the arrest of proclaimed offenders, and effective interrogation of habitual and previously recorded offenders. She also emphasized the need to intensify efforts to eliminate drug-related crimes and take decisive action against drug dealers.
The DPO further instructed officers to maintain a polite, courteous, and respectful attitude towards citizens visiting police stations and offices. She stressed that public complaints and grievances must be addressed promptly and on a priority basis in accordance with the law.
Dr. Ammara Shirazi reiterated that strict implementation of the Punjab government’s directives, effective prevention of crime, and the timely provision of justice to citizens were among the police force’s foremost responsibilities. She directed all officers to perform their professional duties with dedication, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility to maintain law and order and strengthen public confidence in the police.
