In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has rejected India’s claims of normalcy, saying the territory continues to reel under unrelenting Indian repression.
In a statement, APHC spokesman said thousands of Kashmiris remain imprisoned under draconian laws on fabricated charges.
He urged India to allow United Nations observers and international human rights organizations in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Freedom Party condemned the continued arrests of Kashmiri youth.
In a statement, the party spokesman called for an amicable resolution of the Kashmir dispute in line with the UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
