Planning Minister Muhammad Sami Saeed has underscored the need to provide equal opportunities for education to every child.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said concrete steps are being taken to improve condition of health, education and IT sectors. He said that a uniform syllabus, harmonious in meeting the challenges of the modern era is vital for the grooming of students and improving quality of education.

Commending the project to attract out of school children, the Minister emphasised on implementation of decisions of the National Curriculum Council.

He directed the Ministry of Planning to further strengthen coordination with relevant ministries and departments to achieve sustainable development goals.

Planning Minister said the project for Islamabad Teachers Institute will play an important role in increasing capacity of teachers.
