The tenth Commonwealth Youth Ministers meeting chaired by Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has begun in London.

Theme of the four day Ministerial meeting is ‘Aim Higher, Delivering More for Young People in the Commonwealth’.

Pakistan is leading the Commonwealth event for first time in thirty years.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Foreign Minister highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to promote, invest and create opportunities for youth.

He underscored that engagement is a catalyst for the youth. He underlined the Commonwealth’s role in charting youth engagement in global sustainable development agenda.

On the sidelines of the tenth Commonwealth Youth Ministers meeting, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani met with Sri Lanka Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Roshan Ranasinghe in London today.

Their discussions were centered on elevating bilateral relations, with special focus on fostering youth engagement through sports.
