Pakistan and Indonesia have reaffirmed their resolve to strengthen bilateral ties in diverse sectors particularly in trade and investment.

The resolve was expressed during a meeting between Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, Adam M. Tugio in Islamabad today.

During the meeting, Chairman Senate stressed the need for encouraging Indonesian businessmen to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.

On Palestinian issue, Chairman Senate urged world to exert pressure on Israel, emphasizing the need to halt its aggression against Palestinians.

He also emphasized the significance of unity and consensus among Muslim nations.

Indonesian Ambassador Adam M. Tugio commended Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and expressed Indonesia’s keen interest in advancing bilateral relations in various domains.
