Caretaker Minister for National Health Services Dr. Nadeem Jan says the government is committed to control population growth in the country.

He was addressing All Pakistan women convention on Family Planning & Population Management in Islamabad on Monday.

The Health Minister said plans are in pipeline to cope with the challenges in this regard. He urged the people to play their due role as it is becoming a serious challenge for the country.

The Health Minister there is a need to include awareness related material about family planning in our curriculum.

Sharing government’s plans the health minister said polio workers are the best asset of the country. We are planning to compensate them for good output.

Dr Nadeem Jan said women’s education and empowerment have been identified as crucial factors in management of population growth.
