Five persons including four children were injured in a blast on Warsak road in Peshawar on Tuesday.

According to Lady Reading hospital spokesman, two injured children are in critical condition.

The nature of blast is being determined.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has strongly condemned the blast on Warsak Road in Peshawar.

In a statement, the prime minister directed the relevant authorities to provide the best medical facilities to the children injured in the blast. He also prayed for their early recovery.

The Prime Minister directed the law enforcement agencies to complete investigation of the incident at the earliest. He said the terrorists will not be allowed to destroy peace of Pakistan. Those responsible for the incident will be identified and punished.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment in the war on terrorism saying it will continue till the complete elimination of the scourge.
