UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said that collective punishment of Palestinians by Israel is unacceptable.
Addressing the Security Council, the UN chief said the refusal to accept a two-state solution to the conflict and the denial of the right to statehood for the Palestinians are unacceptable.
He said the right of the Palestinian people to build their own state must be recognized by all.
