As former US president Donald Trump is battling in New York court against his hush money trial, Melania Trump has revealed her priority if the Republican presumptive nominee is reelected to the Oval Office in November, formally speaking for the first time since the White House bid was announced.
Former first lady Melania Trump, while speaking in an interview with Fox News Digital Friday, urged the country to unite and make the way for her husband to the White House.
The 53-year-old former model went on to reveal that the safety and well-being of Americans would be her top priority, adding “our children are our future leaders, tomorrow’s innovators,” Trump said.
“We must unite in our effort to establish a society where equality is the everyday experience of every American,” she told the outlet.
“Together, we must nourish and safeguard the seeds of liberty,” she added.
“Because, when successful, America blossoms into a magnificent place where everyone can practice their beliefs, share new ideas, and express individualism — this is when we are our best,” the third wife of Donald Trump said with whom he married in 2006.
Melania’s comments come a day earlier when she is scheduled to hold and speak at a political event in her husband’s favour at Mar-a-Lago in which the individuals representing LGBTQ are to participate.
