In the ongoing crackdown against power pilferage, 86 billion rupees have been collected across the country and over 65 thousand pilferers have been arrested.

During this month, about 0.202 billion rupees were collected in anti-pilferage crackdown in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan and Islamabad while 0.128 billion rupees from Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Quetta.

As ongoing efforts to revive economy and resolve power crisis yield positive results, all relevant government departments stay determined to continue their operations until the illegal activity of power theft is completely eradicated.
