Cases have been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and other leaders Asad Umar and former Sindh governor Imran Ismail on charges of arson and vandalism in Islamabad.

Kohsar police have registered two cases on charges of arson and vandalism during a long march on D-Chowk by PTI yesterday.

Both the cases registered by the police include provisions of arson and vandalism and the arrest of 39 persons has been revealed in the cases.

According to the FIR, 150 people have been named in the cases.

According to the text of both the FIRs lodged in Kohsar police station, the arrested persons damaged government property at the behest of Chairman PTI Imran Khan and other leaders Asad Umar, Imran Ismail, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Ali Amin Gandapur and Ali Nawaz Awan. Delivered

The FIR further said that the protesters set fire to the metro station on Jinnah Avenue while the government vehicle was damaged at Express Chowk.
