Rehabilitation activities for flood-affected people in DG Khan and Rajanpur districts have been started after preparing a preliminary assessment report of damages and human losses.

According to the report, 236 areas of both districts were affected and 433,542 acres area came under water.

In both the districts, 17 people died due to floods and five due to structure collapse.

Meanwhile, Commissioner DG Khan Division Usman Anwar said 3500 bags of dry ration were distributed among the flood victims.

5,504 tents were also given to affected families for temporary shelter.
