The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has passed ‘The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Teachers Appointment and Regularization of Services Bill, 2022’ on Monday.

After passage of the bill more than 38000 teachers have been regularized across the province.

Speaking on the floor of the house, Minister for Education Shahram Khan Tarakai Congratulated the teachers and hoped that they will work with full devotion and passion for training a new generation which will play their role for development and prosperity of the country.

Earlier, responding to a question during question hour in the House, Advisor to Chief Minister on Communication and Works Riaz Khan said that the government has introduced an online system for awarding tenders to contractors of development projects.

He rejected the allegations of favouritism and nepotism regarding awarding contracts to contractors.

Minister for Higher Education Kamran Khan Bangash said the government has extended the local government system to the tribal districts.

He said sufficient funds have been allocated for the provision to basic needs to the tribal people at their doorsteps.

The House will meet again at 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
