In an emergency press briefing, the spokesperson for the Pakistan Armed Forces revealed that India launched missile attacks targeting three Pakistani air bases. However, Pakistan’s advanced air defense system successfully intercepted and neutralized the threats, ensuring all assets of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) remained unharmed.

According to DG ISPR, the Indian missiles were aimed at the Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot airbases using surface-to-air missiles fired from aircraft. Pakistan possesses electronic evidence confirming these attacks, further exposing Indian aggression.

The spokesperson strongly condemned India’s actions, labeling them as “madness” and warned that New Delhi is pushing the entire region toward war. He further disclosed that India had also launched missiles into Afghanistan and carried out drone strikes there, further destabilizing regional peace. Pakistan, he said, is prepared to respond and India should wait for the consequences.

Earlier, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry revealed that India had fired six ballistic missiles within its own territory — five landing in the city of Amritsar and one in Adampur. These attacks targeted residential areas populated by the Sikh community, raising serious concern from Pakistan.

DG ISPR emphasized that India’s internal conspiracies are endangering its minority communities, especially Sikhs, who are facing growing oppression. He expressed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the Sikh community during these troubling times.

In a separate interaction with the international media, the military spokesperson shared that India had also attempted to attack a sacred Sikh religious site in Nankana Sahib using six drones, all of which were intercepted and destroyed by Pakistani forces.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry also highlighted the ongoing persecution of Muslims and other minorities in India, noting that open death threats are being issued and immense pressure is being exerted on these communities.

He further accused India of involvement in terrorist activities not only in Pakistan but also in countries like the United States and Canada. According to him, there is concrete evidence that Indian military officials are directly issuing instructions to terrorists targeting Pakistan.

Security sources in Pakistan have confirmed the presence of electronic evidence proving India launched missiles within its own territory, particularly in the Punjab region. This, they say, is part of a strategy to malign Pakistan and create a false justification for further aggression on the international stage.

It’s worth mentioning that India had previously launched three ballistic missiles at Amritsar during the night between May 7 and 8, a fact also acknowledged by the DG ISPR during his latest press conference.
