
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says the government is committed to make Pakistan one of the leading exporters in the world.
He was talking to British economist Professor Dr. Stefan Dercon who called on him in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister said Pakistani goods used to be in demand all over the world and we want to take Pakistan back to that position. He said for this, economic reforms are inevitable.
Professor Dr. Stefan Dercon appreciated the government’s economic policy and reforms.
Mentioning the positive trend of foreign investment in Pakistan, he appreciated the tariff rationalization policy.
