Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan is working to align industrial policy, skills development, logistics and education with regional market demands.
Addressing a conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he said we are also expanding our visa facilitation for business and academic travellers.
Ahsan Iqbal said phase two of CPEC focuses on industrial cooperation and special economic zones. He said these zones offer joint venture opportunities in manufacturing, food processing and logistics. He asked the regional countries to connect their value chains with Pakistan’s special economic zones, explore cross border industrial clusters and benefit from our Preferential Trade Agreements with China, ASEAN and the Middle East.
