
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says India will not be allowed to use water as weapon against Pakistan.
Addressing officers at Command and Staff College in Quetta today, he said armed forces especially the Pakistan Air Force, delivered a decisive response to Indian attacks on civilian population.
The Prime Minister expressed resolve to deliver a crushing response to India if dares to misadventure again. He said Pakistan agreed to ceasefire offer in the best regional interest.
Shehbaz Sharif said China and Saudi Arabia are the most time tested friends of Pakistan who always stand with us at every critical juncture.
Turning to economy, he said all economic indicators are showing positive trajectory and living standard of common people is improving. The Prime Minister said the revenue collection has been increased by twenty-eight percent and inflation has been reduced to single digit.
Shehbaz Sharif said agreements with IPPs had revisited and hence electricity tariff for the public and business community has also been decreased significantly.
Later, addressing a Grand Jirga in Quetta, Prime Minister Shehbaz Shahrif said all issues of Balochistan would be resolved through dialogue.
He said terrorist elements cannot digest development of Balochistan and they are creating hurdles in progress and prosperity of the province. He said the project of conversion of agriculture tube wells to solar energy is being executed at a cost of seventy billion rupees.
The Prime Minister said the dualization of Quetta Karachi National Highway is underway at a cost of one hundred and fifty billion rupees.
