Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain has called for enhanced bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Philippines in diverse sectors.

He was addressing a ceremony held in Islamabad on Thrusday, to mark the 127th Independence Day of Philippines.

The Minister said there exists immense potential to collaborate in agriculture, climate adaptation, pharmaceutical development, renewable energy, and digital innovation.

He emphasized joint research initiatives, public-private partnerships, and institutional exchanges to address common global challenges like food security and climate resilience.

Rana Tanveer Hussain advocated for greater market integration and business-to-business engagement and said Pakistan welcomes investment from Filipino enterprises and encourages increased participation in trade expos and business delegations.
