Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.

The commitment was expressed at a meeting between Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong in Beijing today.

Ahsan Iqbal appreciated China’s unwavering support for Pakistan during recent tension with India. He also praised China’s leadership for playing a constructive role in global peace.

The Minister said Pakistan-China friendship continues to grow stronger with every passing day.

He said China’s development model remains a source of inspiration for Pakistan.

Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong reaffirmed China’s strong commitment to enhancing cooperation with Pakistan across various sectors.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest with a particular focus on the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
