
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was briefed on the recent flood situation and the progress of ongoing development projects during meetings with Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah and Chief Minister Gulbar Khan in Gilgit.
Governor Shah updated the Prime Minister on the damage caused by recent rains and floods, as well as the status of various development initiatives and the overall law and order situation in the region. Prayers were offered for those who lost their lives in the natural disaster.

In a separate meeting, Chief Minister Gulbar Khan informed the Prime Minister about rescue and relief operations underway in the flood-affected areas. He also expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s decision to establish Daanish schools in Gilgit-Baltistan, terming it a significant step for educational development.
Both meetings highlighted the government’s commitment to the timely completion of development projects and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
