Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif says forty-five thousand houses are currently under-construction under ‘Apni Chat Apna Ghar’ scheme.
Addressing the loans disbursement ceremony in Lahore on Wednesday, she said nine thousand houses have already been completed.
Maryam Nawaz said about sixty-four thousand interest-free loans have been provided and recipients will repay the loans in easy installments over a period of nine years.
She said the monthly installment is only fifteen thousand rupees, making repayment convenient for the beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister said seventy five thousand loans will be disbursed by the end of this month.
