
Pakistan’s renowned and internationally acclaimed snooker champion, Muhammad Asif, who has won the world title three times, has officially qualified for the World Games 2025. His qualification comes on the heels of his recent victory at the IBSF World Men’s Snooker Championship 2024, held in Doha, Qatar.
The World Games 2025 will be hosted in Chengdu, China, from August 7 to August 15, under the auspices of the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS).
General Secretary Naveed Kapadia expressed special gratitude to the WCBS Management Committee and the Consulate of the Republic of China, whose swift support enabled the timely issuance of Muhammad Asif’s visa.
Muhammad Asif is scheduled to depart for China tonight, Thursday, August 7, at 11:30 PM, via Thai Airways flight TG-342 from Karachi.
The Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association (PBSA) has voiced confidence that Muhammad Asif will continue his exceptional performance on the international stage and bring further honor to the country at the World Games.
